After dinner Aaron took Caleigh back to the cabin as she was feeling a little better but just needed some sleep. Dave went to watch Total Recall which was playing on MUTS. Allison & Jodi hit the casino while Felicia and I went to the International Crew Show. This show is always fun to watch and listen to the different crew members sing. There was a girl, Maria, she works in the galley and has a great voice. She sang Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. She was fantastic. At the end of the show was "If I Were Not Upon the Sea". I've seen the same skit a number of times but there is something about it that's just very funny and says to me "I'm on a cruise".

For those who have never seen the skit here is a video of one I found on Youtube.

After the show Felicia & I and most of the people in the theater headed back to Explorers Lounge to see Magician David Cats. He was performing an "up close & personal" slight of hand show. The show was very good but he only performed 4 tricks. After that show we went to the casino where I played craps and lost a few bucks.

As I was walking back to the cabin I met up with Dave in the hallway. Aaron heard us coming and came into the hall. Because he was in the cabin all night he was watching tv and ESPN. He was really excited that the Toronto Blue Jays had made a big trade. We are big baseball fans and that was very exciting news to end the night with.

Other things going on tonight...

7pm & 8:30pm - Comedian Al Katz in the Princess Theatre

7:15pm & 10:15pm - Movies Under The Stars: Total Recall

7pm, 9:15pm & 11:15pm - Magician David Cats in Explorers Lounge

8pm - Blackjack tournament in the Casino

9:15pm - Country Western Hoe Down Dance Party at Club Fusion

10pm - Karaoke Power Hour in Club Fusion

10:15pm - International Crew Show in the Princess Theatre

Today was a laid back day. Because of that I didn't take many pictures.

At 10am while in the cabin I received a phone call from the jewellery store saying I won a watch. Little did I know that everyone who bought an Invicta watch a couple days earlier was put into a draw to win another one. Dave & I went to collect my winnings. While there Dave decided to exchange the Invicta he bought for a Marc by Marc Jacobs watch. This one was a little nicer than the Invicta.

We then saw Aaron & Jodi in the Piazza as they were headed to the "Outlet Sale" which was only going on for 3 hours. This sale is mostly things that are $10 and under. Lots of souvenirs, cheap watches and other little nik naks. The sale was happening in Michaelangelo Dining Room on Plaza Deck (Deck 5 midship). I didn't buy anything but Dave bought a couple shirts as presents for his family. Felicia was at the Pursers Desk (Guest Services) trying to deal with a credit card issue. It took her a while but everything was figured out and she had only good things to say about the staff.

Allison wasn't feeling well and stayed in the cabin while the rest of us went to the pool. She had called the ship's doctor and a nurse came up. She was diagnosed with Norovirus and was quarantined to the room for 24 hours. Because this was the last day it meant she couldn't leave the room until disembarkation.

At the Pool The Hunger Games was playing on MUTS. Once again it started raining and another mass exodus from the pool occurred. I love watching people who are in the pool run from getting wet. The rain only lasted 5 minutes.

At 3pm Jodi & Felicia went to the final bingo of the cruise. The grand prize was $2250. Of course they didn't win though.

I eventually went back to the cabin to pack. It's always a little depressing packing on the last day.

As dinner time approached we all headed down to the MDR. Allison was had no energy an was sleeping in the cabin. When we got to the dining room Caleigh wasn't feeling well so Aaron took her back to their cabin and ended up staying there for the rest of the night. It was sad to see them sick on vacation. Aaron never showed any signs of being sick. He has a great immune system and very rarely gets sick.

On the menu tonight as an appetizer were chicken wings. Kind of an odd item but they were actually very good. They only served 3 per order. I could have had a few orders. I also ordered the shrimp which I normally don't because you only get 4. I asked to get a double order and Joel came back with a plate that had 12 shrimps. I should have thought of this a long time ago. I also ordered mussels and a NY Strip. Both were delicious. There were a lot more mussels than I was expecting and I'm not complaining. This was the 3rd time I had mussels on the trip.

It was the last night of the cruise and as is tradition, waiters had the Baked Alaska Parade. Everyone was making noise and waving their serviettes in the air.

We finished dinner and thanked both Russell & Joel for their fantastic work over the week. I tipped them on top of the tips that are already charged to my cruise card.

After dinner Dave went to the Princess Theatre to watch the movie The Expendables 2. I'm not sure why it was in the theatre and not MUTS. Felicia & I went to Explorers Lounge to see Comedian Al Katz. He was extremely funny! A couple people got up during the show and he was making fun of them. A woman got up and Al said "Where are you going?" She said she's going to get a drink. Al said "You know they have servers here". She replied "Apparently not." It was hilarious. I think you had to be there to see how funny it was. There were a bunch of kids sitting up front on the floor and Al was making fun of them too.

When the show let out we walked over to the Piazza where the Expedia group was having their closing party. There was live music, dancing and waiters walking around with hors d'oeuvres. We didn't have any as they weren't for us. We walked to Club Fusion where the finals of Princess Pop Star was taking place. We walked in just as they were announcing the winner. A guy won, but we didn't hear anybody sing.

After walking around for a while we went to the outside of Promenade Deck. While on the Port Side we could see the parade of ships making their way back to Florida. We saw 5 ships going the same direction as us. The only one I could make out was Allure of the Seas. How could you not notice the beast. We also saw 3 ships moving the opposite direction and sailed right by us. I could tell one of the ships was a Carnival but couldn't tell which one.

When we got back to the cabin Dave had just got back too. He, Aaron & I then went to the International Cafe for a late night snack. We had some jello & chocolate pudding. The pudding was a little too thick for our liking.

When I got back to the room around 1am I finished packing and placed my bag in the hall. They tell you to have your luggage in the hall by 11pm. I like to be able to put my clothes from the last night in my bag before putting it out. There was no problem as they came through the hall to collect my bag later.

Other things going on tonight...

6pm onwards - No smoking in the casino

6:30pm, 8:30pm & 10:30pm - Comedian Al Katz in Explorers Lounge

7:15pm - Movies Under the Stars: Moonrise Kingdom

7:15pm & 9pm - Production Show: "Once Upon A Dream" in the Princess Theatre

7:45pm & 9:30pm - Vocalist Melissa Wand in Explorers Lounge

9:15pm - Majority Rules Gameshow in Club Fusion

10:15pm - Princess Pop Star Finale in Club Fusion

Hello there fellow Canuk,

Great review...it's getting me excited for our up coming Ruby cruise in January. I was wondering if you knew any more details about this picture.

Approx where on the beach you took it and how much the massages may be??

Thanks from any info.

Hi Banilla,

I don't know any details about the massages but here is a picture in which I have outlined for you where the massages are. You'll find them under the palapa hut.

I found this thread about beach massages in Grand Turk. It should be able to help you out.

Most of the posts were great since I'll be on a later cruise on the same ship/itinerary. Unfortunately the rest was a boring facebook post.

Pictures at the hotel and your husband eating and sliding down a slide the night before the cruise? Could not care less.

Glad you had fun and thank you for sharing the useful parts---about the cruise!

Thats a bit harsh...... and if you had bothered to read the OP first post you'd know who what was sliding down the slide....

I am enjoying this review ..... if you dislike it enough to post this nasty remark... why are you reading it?

Another Jan chiming in..... I enjoyed the review and the photos. This guy is a friendly, outgoing person who had a great cruise and is graciously sharing it with anyone who is interested. If you're not, move on.

Thanks for the awesome review, and taking the time to post all the great pictures!! :)

Thank you all very much. That was BalconyBob's 4 post. He's probably just a troll. Doesn't bother me. I'm going to finish off this review now.

All I have to say is "Ditto". I think that was very harsh and not called for. Some people have nothing better to do then insult people. I am going on the same ship also in Feb/13 and found great information. Thank you very much for your review.:)

Debarkation was a little different for us than normal. Allison was feeling a lot better but still quarantined to her cabin. Aaron & Allison were told not to put their luggage in the hall on the last night and would have to carry it off. We were originally given luggage takes for a 10:30am debarkation time but received a call in the cabin the day before from Guest Services telling us we would be getting new tags and we'd all be escorted off the ship together at 9:30am. At 9:30 2 ladies from the Port Authority came knocking on the cabin door. It was their job to take us off the ship and through customs. As we were walking off I asked one of the ladies how many other people had noro on this ship. She told me there were 2 reported cases. Because we were with the ladies from the Port Authority, we used the special assistance line and were through customs in no time. They left us when we got out of the terminal on the other side.

We stayed in Ft. Lauderdale for one more night at the same hotel as before the cruise the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North. Allison was feeling much better that afternoon, but when we got home the virus had spread quickly through the family. We had gone to visit some family in Virginia for Thanksgiving and while there 7 people got sick with the same thing Allison had. That shows how quickly this virus can spread and why cruise lines quarantine you to your cabin if you have symptoms of Noro.

Thank you to everyone who has read my review. I had fun writing and sharing it with you. Being my first review on Cruise Critic I wasn't sure how long it was going to be and it took me a little longer than I thought. I am going to finish off with some other pictures from around the ship.

TIP: A lot of people have a hard time remembering where their cabin is and which way to turn when exiting the elevator. Princess has made the carpet different on both sides of the ship. If you have an even cabin number you'll be on the port side of the ship with the accent colour in the carpet being pink. If you have and odd numbered cabin you'll be on the starboard side with the light blue accent in the carpet. When getting off the elevator just remember what colour your carpet is to know which way to turn.
