Nice shot! I'm trying to post from my Flickr account, but just get this:

Dunn's River Falls, Jamaica

How do you get the pic to imported instead of the link?

Hi Jay,

In the photo stream section of Flickr, click on a photo. The image will enlarge. Just below it, to the right, are five icons. Click on the middle one (a curved arrow).

A box will pop up. The secret is to select BBCode, that's the markup language used in the Cruise Critic forums. It took some playing with the Preview Post feature, but when you get it right, you'll see your photo before posting.

Hope this helps,

Brad

From what I saw on the news St. Marrten doesn't look like that any more, sad. Wonder how long it will take to get things back to how it used to be?

Tuscan hailstorm on the RCCI President's Cruise, 2017. Mr. Bailey (who wasn't in charge of the weather), refunded the cost of the excursion for everyone. I'd have been happy to pay just to get a photo of a shivering Italian cowgirl.

I've often wanted to try similar long exposures on a ship. I figured that I would lose, or at least have a motion blurred horizon due to ship movement. After seeing this I'm going to give it a try.

Thanks, Mark

I still struggle to get pictures to post here. I guess I am too impatient to follow all of the directions so here is a link to my cruise album for our trip from Venice to Barcelona on the Constellation in September 2017. Most of the images were made with a Canon 5D Mk III. The selfies and the aerial of Venice as we landed were made with an iPhone 7. Blub did the book for me and I was very happy with their reproduction.

This was the morning of Oct 6. The first shot is of the full moon setting right at dawn. The second shot is of the sun rising on the other side of the ship a few minutes later.

My last cruise, almost ten years ago. I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of our ship, one not-so-clear day in Honkers. The next day we loaded the kids onto a flight back home, and ourselves onto Aurora for a magic month all the way to Southampton.

Love the reflected light on the water. Makes the whole thing magical. Very nice.
