Fred Ziffel Posted July 19, 2013 #129 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Dueling Mariner images! :) Good morning Mariner: Coffee on the promenade: Johnny Rocket's at sunrise: Mini Golf: Pano Pool: Dave LOL. I had fun shooting on that ship. All kinds of subject matter. Love your shots, especially #2. Artfully done. I should probably do more shallow DOF work. Also, a nice pano. Is that a single capture or several stitched together?
Fred Ziffel Posted July 19, 2013 #130 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Great pictures. Those steps look dangerous to me. Thanks. I had to get down low to get this shot, so the stairs look steeper than they actually are. This is probably what it looks like from a toddler's POV.

I should probably do more shallow DOF work. Also, a nice pano. Is that a single capture or several stitched together? It's a multi-shot with the NEX-7 stitched in Photoshop. I used the little Sigma 19mm a lot on that trip. Phenominal lens at any price but really, really amazing for under $150! Here's another 19mm shot: Headng out on the Solstice in a couple of months...can't wait! Very photogenic ship! Dave
pierces Posted July 19, 2013 #132 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Great pictures. Unusual pool configuration. Thanks! Dual pools aren't unusual when the ship is 50 ft wider than most! Dave

Others, not... Dave We have cruised right after Thanksgiving and watched as many of the Christmas decorations were put up. About the only thing HAL doesn't put out until the week of Christmas is the real Poinsettias. Pretty decorations.
