Where is Chankanaab, and was this creature wild or captive? And that water in the background -- beautiful!

 

Chankanaab National Park, Cozumel, Mexico (Caribbean side)

The park is considered a conservation area for fauna and flora after being decreed a national park in the year 1980, also swim with dolphins, snorkeling etc.

 

 

Here are a couple more, one showing size next to someone (the other half).:eek:

 

They can come and go as they please, the area where the orange one is, is a man made small lagoon with fish in it. (just to the left of the wife)

Nice capture (I know it can vary, but what was the weather like when you went, can't decide whether panama canal or Alaska :confused:)

Reminds me of the igunas that we see in St Thomas at Crown Bay.

The full transits are the best.

Alaska is also great -- check out HAL's Amsterdam 14 day itinerary. It is being offered in 2014. We did it in 2011 and 2012.
