Where's Coral?

Going on the Coral 3/27 ten day canal cruise and was pleased to see her in FLL this past Friday while I was there on business. Now I see on her bridge cam that she's in Freeport in what looks to be a shipyard.

Can anyone tell me if this is part of a regular cruise itinerary or if she's undergoing scheduled or unscheduled repairs?

Thanks,

Paul

She is undergoing a scheduled drydock/refurbishment.

Thanks for the replies regardinjg her drydock. Whenever I pull up her deck plan on the Princess website it asks if I am sailing before or after May 21, 2013 so I assumed that that date was in conjunction with a drydock...

No, that is just the date that when the cabin classifications for all Princess ships changes from the old classifications to the new ones.

Princess has managed to confuse many people by not stating that on the page that asks you to select before or after.

Nope. Nothing to do with that. Princess has re-organized cabin categories as of May 21st. The only thing different is category and pricing on all Princess ships.

The link below says rumour of casino reconfiguration and IC installation. I know many before have said there isn't room for and IC but it sure would be nice since I'm on her in August. :p

I'm with you--hoping they can reconfigure the casino area so they can put in an IC. Whether an IC is put in or not--it will be nice to sail on a recently spruced-up ship!

There isn't enough room for an IC in the Atrium, but the casino isn't in the Atrium, so space may be less of a concern in that location. It is indeed still a rumour at this stage; I look forward to seeing what happens . . . and to finding out how they plan to keep the casino stench from cigarette smoke away from the chocolate chip cookies and chicken salad.
