FLCruiseGirl Posted January 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Does anyone know approximately how long it takes for reimbursement from the insurance company when you have to cancel your cruise for medical reasons? The insurance was purchased through NCL at the time the cruise was booked. My brother's wife (they were scheduled to travel with my husband and I on the Epic this Saturday) had to have surgery unexpectedly. They cancelled about 2 weeks ago, submitted the claim right away, and have heard nothing since. I know it may take several weeks for the insurance company to confirm everything. They were just wondering what the average wait time is. There is no phone number provided to call with questions.
