Anna - I'm pretty sure you asked for a pic of your cabin? If so, I took one today! :D

Do they sell sodas in the store at the port? I don't remember seeing the store when I sailed from there two years ago. Four weeks from today we will be onboard the lovely Adventure and I can't wait.

I believe there are cases of water and soda. 100% sure of the water....not for the soda though....

Helllllooooo from week 2 on the beautiful Adventure of the Seas!!!! :D Great to see so many people reading and following along. I had a fantastic first week and looking very forward to the next 7 days with 5 exciting ports!

Turnaround day was SO simple. Meet in the Imperial Lounge at 10:30am.....escorted off at 10:35am....back onboard at 10:40am :p There was a special lunch for B2B guests, but we didn't go - we headed to the pool instead and spent a gorious afternon soaking up the amazing San Juan sunshine! Our meet and greet by the pool was not well attended, but there were a few of us, and as Crisndeefromde already said, we have definitely enjoyed eachother's company!!!

I just came from Welcome Aboard show #2 - looks as if the entertainment this week will be good. If I had to call out one weak area......it would be the entertainment. I'm not saying it's bad....but I have seen better  In any case, the headliner changes each week.

Tomorrow we will be in St. Croix. Our plan is to explore the island and have lunch somewhere before heading back onboard. The weather forecast is 87 and sunny - seems to be the theme for these cruises!!!

I am off to la la land in my cabin - the ship is rolling a bit and that makes for a GREAT night's sleep!!!

Thanks for following along - more tomorrow!!!

Thanks for your info - looking forward to what you think about St. Croix - we will be there in about 6 weeks - if you get a change 2 blocks up from the pier is LA Cafe (they make a drink called "the dirty banana") we were wondering what it looked like - either one the cafe or the drink. If you get a chance let us know.

Thank you for allowing us to travel with you vicariously... I'll be traveling on AOS in just under two months. So excited!

You mention the entertainment. I know it's not like Oasis/Allure, but what are the nightly options?

Thanks... and have a wonderful second week ahead!

Robyn ... sounds like a great turnaround day! Enjoy St Croix ... I too will be interested in what you find to do there ... Friends headed there on a SoCa cruise in May & asked for comments from me today but we did a catamaran so not much help.

Love the gentle roll to sleep!!! :)

Although OB & I will be in San Juan at the same time, but doubtful we'd see each other ... especially if he finds a cave there!

Marine Traffic shows Adventure docked in San Juan. Independence is steaming south at 17 knots off of the coast of Hollywood, FL a few miles behind Allure. My plan this week is to sit here tracking the two ships until Indy picks me up in Ft Lauderdale next Saturday. :)

I was wondering which website you use to follow the AOS? We watched the sail-a-ways yesterday on the Florida port cams.

Thanks,

cmh382

If it helps with any of your questions I scanned the Compasses from the two weeks I was on and they can be found in my sig below. Of course there may very well be changes.

Hi ckrobyn! Loving this thread... We sail on the TA in April. Any chance you could find out what the Red wine is on the premium package? There seems to be a lot of confusions as to what is House wine?

Thanks a lot! And enjoy the sun x

Would you get the same quick turnaround if you were in Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

When I was on board the House wine was 'La Terre'. It was not good. JMO.

I use Marinetraffic.com. But I warn you it can be a bit addicting. Like I need one more internet site to be addicted to when I already have Cruise Critic.:o

I checked out MarineTraffic and wow that IS cool! Aside from all the ships and their locations, there are a ton of pics as well. Huge pics; like you can almost enlarge enough to see people's faces on their balconies!

So glad you had a great Week One! I am looking forward to my week on board in April so that my DD can continue her love affair with Aruba - her favorite warm weather destination. But first, we have to take care of satisfying her need for a cold weather fix - off to Breckenridge this week. Brrrr.......

Hope you're enjoying this leg of your cruise Robyn. My daughter are first time cruisers doing the same 5 ports as you are this week. We sail away on 24th March in GS1288. I'd be ever so grateful if you manage to get a look at it and give me some idea of what to expect.

Have a wonderful time. Have just changed our pre cruise hotel to the Marriot Stellaris after reading your posts. Thank you.

Robyn,

Hi there. We were on board at 11:30 yesterday. Hit the pool but was unable to make sail away. Deck 5 my time was really backed up from the muster drill & dinner went way over. Sorry. Slept luke a baby! Ill be in the casino tonight for raffle giveaways. Playing "Catch a wave,!

Must agree. IMHO compulsion is the best band on board. The Columbian trio is lacking. Food has been great so far. Can tell that there is new life & efforts in their dishes.

My port deck 7 fwd balcony room steward Maybeline is very very sweet & attentive.

Sitting on the beach at Buccaneer Beach resort. Started off overcast, but ended up a beautiful day.

Not sure if you are on the thread for the March 24th AOS sail. The link is as follows: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1554603. We are sailing with you. The thread is fairly active especially since the cruise is getting closer. There is a sign up for the meet and greet among the posts.

Hello Angela - how the heck are you. Was in Paso recently and a lot of the tasting rooms around the square are gone. Also just heard that Wilson's closed, that's historic. Anyway the LA Cafe is were our c.c. roll call members plan on meeting in St. Croix for a little banana drink before we all head back on board. Nice to know you can get them onboard also. Hope to cruise with you again sometime. :D
