Aaaaaah! Oh well. I have my coupons and I will probably buy a package. I just hope the Internet connection is steady and reliable?!

My last Adventure cruise was in 2010 but even then I was able to do my company's payroll and tax payments from the middle of the Atlantic, all from the comfort of the Royal Caribbean Online's computer bank, just a few steps from my cabin. And on Windows 2000 machines nonetheless. The internet connection was dial-up slow, but it was reliable. Even if our bank and tax authorities make you jump through some severe security steps. I don't think I spent more than a hundred dollars on internet over two weeks. It cost me more in jewelry purchased to pacify my DW over all the work I had to do online while cruising!

Amazing ... over 100 posts & you only landed in Miami!!!

So exciting waiting for you to see the AOS & get onboard ... we are just waiting for the excitement when you are "home" again!

I agree we are always on the left side of the plane & get a picture of the ships as we come into the airport .... very cool to have that first sighting of the ships. Wonder if there will be ships when we land on a Thursday???

Good morning from Miami, Florida! We arrived at the Miami Airport Marriott at just about 1:00am, after an uneventful flight from Toronto. We were upgraded to the Concierge level (I am Elite with Marriott) and our room is lovely. I am enjoying a coffee now while looking out the window at summer instead of SNOW!

Our flight to San Juan is at 11:40, so we will head back over to MIA at around 9.

I don't usually function well only little sleep, but how could I sleep when my next stop is San Juan and my Adventure of the Seas???

Thanks to you all for your kind wishes. I will update as often as I can :)

Aviator, I wish it were that easy!!!! I am quite certain I overpacked...... But hey, DH is my luggage guy, and I won't lift the suitcase!

We always worry about losing luggage, and my DD reminded me what MIA stands for.... Missing In Action!!!! : o

I'm definitely going to be looking out the plane window later this morning.... I'll check and see if there are any ships in port today here in Miami.

This thread is hopping! Even more reason to check in regularly :)

Oh, I forgot to mention...

This Marriott is very nice. If you need a hotel pre or post cruise in Miami, I would recommend this one. Lobby is brand new, front desk staff very nice, great proximity to the airport. But most of all CLEAN!!!! and of course the beds are comfy!

Independence should be in San JUan on Thursday from 7 AM - 2 PM. The ship starts an 8 night cruise on Saturday and should be in San Juan Thursday.

Looking forward to the Caribbean trip, the pre-trip excitement has been fun so far. Too bad Tapatalk does not let you disable your signature, makes for a lot of scrolling for one line responses. I had the same problem when I live blogged on our cruise to Hawaii.

Did you know you can use Tapatalk to post phone pictures too? Just let them upload to the Tapatalk server instead of the CC server or they will be too small. :)

Good to hear regarding the hotel!!

I posted this in our March AOS Roll Call. I am sure some of you have already seen this but if not, damn, you gotta love the internet! http://ships.cruisett.com/schedule/R...as/March_2013/ Good to see what other ships are in port with you. Hope it is accurate.

Anyone going to St Croix, want to go to the beach but don't know what to do. Try this http://www.sandcastleonthebeach.com/CruisePassengerBeachDayPass.cfm

The beach cafe menu looks great!

We're here!!!!!!:p:p

Great flight from MIA to SJU - arrived here a few hours ago and checked into the Marriott Stellaris, it is as nice as it always was - with a brand new remodeled lobby. We were upgraded to a full ocean front room and the view is magnificent. The balcony door is open and the sound of the waves crashing is much nicer than the sound of snow and freezing rain!!

Plans for tonight include dinner and then there is salsa dancing in the lounge of the hotel - I will be practice my spectator skills!!! LOL Of course the casino deserves a bit of my time too ;) Tomorrow we are planning to visit Old San Juan, and maybe lunch at Barrachina, the birthplace of the Pina Colada :)

I have met one of our roll call members already! I heard my name being called at the airport - great to meet you Dorothy (Kastke) :D

Now to scroll back and answer some questions :o Thanks for following along. Oh, and the weather in San Juan today was 85 and sunny!!!
