Which beach is the best?

We are sailing on the Mariner of the seas May 16th and booked a tour with Godfrey for our visit to St Thomas. We are travelling with 6 adults and a 21mos old. Which beach do you think is the best to visit? Which has the best sand and water?

You'll very likely enjoy Megan's Beach - one of the nicest coves on the island and great sand!

Hello Smiller,

Yes there is a taxi stand at Magens Bay right accross from the entrance booth area. Just walk up to where the drivers are sitting and you will get a taxi back to the ship.

For Magen's bay the cost is $3 pp. The bathrooms are nice and you can go farther down the beach away from the buildings and be pretty secluded.

Coki beach is free and also nice... but smaller and more crowded and the bathrooms are not good.

Tharper..... I was at Megan's Bay in December 2003. I was not impressed.
The beach was very crowded...and there was pieces of "stuff" all in the sand.

If I were to return to St Thomas...I would not be going there.

Just another opinion.
