MS Westerdam & MS Nieuw Amsterdam Sail-Aways 3/17/13

Good morning, Chief. I think they have to fill in the space for departure with a time so it's guess work on their part. Or maybe the ships request that time....when in actuality it's not possible to all leave at once.

Unfortunately (sort of) I will definitely not be around today. Instead of the awesome sounds of the Westerdam leaving Port Everglades, for me it will be the awesome sounds of Saint Saens and Poulenc on the mighty organ at the Myerhoff Symphony Hall. I'll certainly have a look at the thread when I get home, and hopefully the Westerdam will end up on Lou and Dave's archives.

Bon Voyage to all sailing away today.

Roy

I'll be here. Unless I'm drinking tea.

Did anyone find out what was happening there yesterday with all those blinking lights? Did they find someone trying to take snorkel equipment or smuggling a pair of flippers in a backpack or something? Was everyone sober? Thank goodness is was around 3 p.m. and not 3 a.m.

It definitely wasn't flippers or snorkel equipment smuggling:D

I'll be here too. I'll be sober. Promise.

Jacqui, my friends and your friends/neighbours will be on the Westerdam. We will have to look for them.

We have other friends getting on when it gets to San Diego for Hawaii.

Good morning Chief. Well you'll have an easier time of keeping control today because I can't be here:( But I sure hope it's as much fun as the past couple of days. Happy Sailaway, everyone.

We will miss you.:)

I haven't seen Brenda in a dog's age (too cold for her and her dog I suspect).

I knew she was doing HAL but didn't realize it was this sailing.

Thanks Bobbie:D
