Almost everything was beyond our expectations. - Food was fantastic in MDR and Tuscan, just wow, service from waiters was very good, our assistant server in MDR Milan was just exceptional. - Room was very clean, shower and bathroom spotless, room attendant very good. - Drinks very good, coffee at Cafe Al Baccio hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy. - Overall friendlyness of staff was great, officers visible and friendly. Theater shows were great and general entertainement very good. - Tabyana Beach excursion in Roàtan was very good. (although local junk sellers are very annoying) - Embarkation and getting off the ship spotless. Little down sides - Lack of space and available chairs around main pool and upper deck :( - Pre-ordered Penguin suit (tuxedo) from affiliate celebrity website and never got delivered.... - Tulum Ruins and Beach break a complete disaster on many levels and an horrible waste of 112$ at Cozumel. Overall we give Constellation 9/10+ note, we are just completely amazed and happy with our cruise. Will answer any question you may have. In fairness, maybe it isn't, in a quirky sort of way. There were a few initial posts reporting that things haven't been quite so perfect since the relocation across the pond so I'm pleased you found all well. . . . biker1972 Posted May 5, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 5, 2013 While vetted, shore excursions are done by third party vendors and are not controlled by the cruiselines (as booking agents the cruiselines do take a cut of the price). This is why many cruisers try to book their excursions privately. Tulum is a wonderful site but it is some distance from port. To combine it with a beach break and use a large bus with lots of cruisers means that one of the activities will likely be shorted. Now that you have experienced a cruise and found Cruise Critic, you will have the joy of planning your next one! We all help one another here and are full of valuable information and ideas.
