Globaliser Posted June 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2004 If anyone's going to be in London on that day, pre-cruise or post-cruise, you might want to know that the Olympic torch is "passing through town". It's got a route that starts in Wimbledon at 1100, goes over to Greenwich to be there at about 1330, then across the river to Canary Wharf and back towards town. It will cross Tower Bridge just before 1600, the Millennium footbridge (the "wobbly bridge") at 1615, through Hyde Park between 1700 and 1800 and then back into town in time for the big free concert on the Mall (tickets only) in the early evening.
