FERRY DOCK IN OBAN, SCOTLAND?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how far the cruise ship port is from the ferry dock in Oban? We would like to go over to the Isle of Mull on our own and we are wondering if we need to get a cab or can we walk?

I don't know the area at all, but THIS SITE has a link to the ferry companies Email. I would give that a try.

Looks like you will dock in the main harbour area and that the ferry leaves from mull at the same place.
Have a look at multimap.com and type in OBAN in the search. You can then see where the ferry port is to Mull.

Try the other end, then - see what HAL says about where you will dock or tender to at Oban. It's a pretty small little town though so if the ship or tender pier is in or anywhere near the town, I would have thought it highly likely that you can walk over to the ferry pier that is shown on the ferry company's website that Nickwolf linked to.
