SweetCin-Did you end up doing all 3? If so how did you end up doing it? Tour or on your own? I want to do the same thing and not to crazy about the xtra $28/per if I can take abus or something. What can you tell me?

I would like to say the cayman's are beautiful . . . escpically along 7 mile beach in front of the Westin . .. however, for those of you interested in Hell & the turtle farm . . . I would sort of say they are what they call "tourist traps" especially Hell.

A long ride (cayman above land is not that pretty) to see a bunch of balck rock! The only fun thing about it is mailing a postcard from "Hell" . . .

At least Captain Marvin's and Nativeways will do a combination tour for you--possibly others. It is about $20pp to add the Turtle Farm and Hell to the Stingray City Sandbar tour.

There is also a city bus that will take you to those places. I believe the fare is about $2 US and I'm assuming that is one way. Don't know if you can get a transfer or something if you stop at Hell on the way to the Turtle Farm or if you have to pay for 3 separate fares (from town to Hell, Hell to the Turtle Farm, and the Turtle Farm back to town). Admission to the Turtle Farm is $6. Hell is free.

So you have to decide whether the convenience of having someone else handle the details is worth the extra $. The price with an excursion company would probably include a stop at 7-mile beach and possibly some local sites as well.

We are booked to visit Stingray City with Native Ways... and planned to spend the rest of the day on the beach. Now my 15 yr old (who would just as soon love to stay home and not go on her first cruise) want to go to Hell. I know it's just the "novel" thing to do and am not interesting in paying $20 times 5 of us just for the experience.

 Any additional information on the buses would be great!

How much time should we set aside? What is the cost? and can we just catch a bus at the pier?
