Has anyone heard any rumors as to the progress and whether they are on schedule? Any pictures from the shipyard? Esprit Posted April 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2013 According to my daughter who is on fire watch duties watching the rear cabins being added, the ship is like a bomb site! No dramas to report other than a burst water pipe inside. There are loads of contractors on board who embarked in Miami and are staying in the soon to be refurbished staterooms. The ship is high and dry with much activity all over it. So much so she can't even sunbath on the Lido decks. Such a shame! Needless to say she's bored and can't wait for it all to finish and have passengers back on board. I too wanted to see some pictures and I've been promised some on her Facebook page. Much appreciated if you could provide an update if she thinks the aft AQ cabins will be fitted out b4 we sail. Would love to move up to one from 9. btw, my travel agent says they have 200 people on wait list for the deck 11 AQ cabins! as of now, NONE have been sold. At least X management had the foresight to not sell any of the new cabins for our crossing! That could have been an ugly scene pier side on the 5th had they sold them and they were not ready ........ I'm in one of the new Oceanview cabins they are putting in on Deck 3 for the first Baltic cruise on May 20, right after the TA.
