Which stingray tour offers video taping?

I have heard that some of the stingray tours do offer videotaping on VHS or DVD.

Which ones are they, and do you have to request it in advance?

What did they tape you doing? How long was it? How MUCH was it?

Since this seems like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and my 10-year old who is afraid of fish (but unafraid of everything else) -- is overcoming her fear of this recently -- touched a stingray and baby shark at an aquarrium this week -- I thought this would be triumphant for her.

Thanks!

Captain Bryans Catamaran have video taping on the day of our trip. I guess if someone requests it they have someone onboard. It was $40 for the VHS and $60 for a DVD or maybe it was a cd, not really sure.

We used Captain Marvin's, but on the day we went, the video company didn't come along. CM's put us in touch with the outfit they use, and because it was a holiday and we were only on the 2-hour tour, they didn't video our excursion. They did offer to come along if we paid $200 or so (and it would be our family only), but we declined. I now wished we would have just paid the extra money. The videos sound awesome.

I would imagine all the tour outfits use the same company. There may even be more than one who offers this service. The best way to find out is ask the company you plan on using.

I'm just back from the Carnival Triumph, we booked a sting ray city tour with Soto's Cruises and they offered a VHS or DVD, I'm not sure of the exact price, somewhere in the 40-50 range. The video lady was great, she was in scuba gear and video taped everything. At the end she gave us all an opportunity to watch some of the tape. I didn't purchase but many people did.

We booked right thru Carnival (Did Hell, Turtle Farm and Stingrays). We got a GREAT DVD they took of us for $50. The music in the background was awesome and they did a great edit job. There were only about 25 people on our boat too. We saw some pulling in to the sandbar with 100's! We were very happy with our tour. We got rum punch on the way back and pineapple soda for the kids (all free)

I cant remember the name but as soon as you dock you will see them they hold red signs saying stingrays snorkeling $35. I will look at the tape to see if they advertise

 • 3 weeks later...
We used the RCI excursion and they videotape. Great snorkel/stingrays . We saw turtles, sharks, eels and fish as well as the stingrays.
My husband doesn't like swimming and was one of the last ones in the boat from snorkeling.
