Also, Ice buckets in rooms are small.. If you call room service they will bring a larger bucket good for chilling a few soft drinks at a time. We used that along with soft pack cooler we brough to keep drinks chilled good.

I didn't see any blow dryers in the room. I also brought my own.

I agree ... the ice buckets were very small. It would only hold 1 or 2 cans of soda or a bottle of wine :mad:

The drive was hell but we made it. I think driving overnight made it easier. Time did fly by faster for us. Early morning was the hardest :eek:

I just used one of the buckets from my bucket o beer. Be advised, they do leak so put a towel under it. The room stewart will keep it full of ice if you ask.

Generally it is around 1:30-2pm at one of the dining rooms (not both) and you can ask at check-in. If you are talking about a table for 2 they are limited, Platinum have "preferred" status and Diamond have guaranteed status for requesting a particular type of table. I've gone about 15 minutes before and still was the 3rd or 4th in line. Good luck!

Day 3 Nassau

 

We got up around 7:00am this day. Went to the buffet for breakfast and afterwards we went to the top deck to watch the ship come into the port. We were at this port from 9am to 8pm.

It didn't take us long to get off the ship. Once we got off we had to take the famous picture under the "Bahamas" sign :p

We decided to spend our day at the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau. We went online and paid a deposit to hold our reservation. Once we got to the hotel we went up to the front desk to pay for the final bill. Total it was $60 per person.

Bobsfamily- My daughter and her bf will be going she surprised me as this cruise was given to me for my 50th lol. I just want to spend time with her since she moved out last year (we do speak on phone and see one another here and there but its not quality time) and just want to spend quality time with them and just focus our conversations together the four of us. I not being unsocialable but this trip is more about being with my other half and her.

Completely understand! It's just me and the wife now (kids out at college, etc.) and we enjoy the time alone at dinner. I have been successful the last 2 cruises to get a "2 top" table. Just wanted you to know that quite a few others are wanting the same. A table for 4 will be easier to get. In fact you can request one by a window for more privacy. Have a wonderful trip, we plan to have fun soon!

We have been on the Fascination twice - and love her! My grandparents lived forever in Reed Springs and then moved to Nixa :)
