Enuff time before/after Stingray tour for ???

I'm visiting Grand Cayman via the Inspiration in Sept. Canival lists the times as arriving at 7am and departing at 3pm. Assuming that GC is on CST, that would translate to 6am and 2pm.

We are currently booked withj Captain Bryan's aboard the Hannibal for the Stingray CityExcursion, meeting at 9am CST and finishing at 12pm CST.

What do you think we could do with the time before and after the excursion?

How long does it generally take to get off the ship and tender to the Island?

I'd like to not feel rushed, and maybe have some time to wander a bit, if that's possible.

Opinions?
