tabcourt Posted May 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Flying in the day before our Jan.'05 trip on Constellation. Can someone recommend a nice hotel in which to spend the overnight, near the dock? What's the name of the dock, anyway? Pan American? Also, can someone tell me how much a soda sticker costs on the ship? (I'm a first-timer). Thanks.

elaineo Posted May 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2004 no reason to stay at wyndam, though. we stayed there and it was fine, decent location, but you can also stay at any san juan/ condado hotel and cab it to ship. we stayed at wyndam, but then still had to cab it to ship---and you have to cab to hotel form airport----so it really doesn't matter. no beach at wyndam. tabcourt Posted May 11, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 11, 2004 How does "Condado" relate to the Priceline area descriptions of: Dorado Mayaguez - Isabela Ponce - Guanica Rio Grande - Humacao are any of the above close?
Nanatravel Posted May 11, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2004 No, those are all remote resort locations. You would want Old San Juan, Condado or Isle Verde. MSBYRDY Posted May 11, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2004 If you're at the Pan Am pier, it's not the one in Old San Juan. We were there in March and there are no hotels near it, you'd have to cab it no matter what. We were told the piers in Old San Juan were only used for the Port Stops on ships. Pan Am pier is across the bay in an area of it's own. Marilyn
