? About VD Cabins on Nieuw Amsterdam

We're booked in a VD in the aft, above the dining room. I usually select a cabin sandwiched between floors of cabins. Are there any noise issues being above the dining room? Thx!

We were in a VD on the 4th level for 14 days and never really heard any noise from the Dining Room. There was a bit of a sewer smell in the hallway from a vent, but it came and went during the 2 weeks.

Full disclosure: on our charters we don't spend a lot of time in our cabin but when we were there it was quiet.

I was on the NA and the Eurodam in 4171 and it was the most silent cabin I've had in 43 cruises. Love the large balcony. Great location to get to the MDR and elevator to the Lido. Book it!

We are in 4167 on Noordam over New Years and I was wondering too!
