Rare LewiLewi Posted May 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2013 We just returned from a 37 day back to back cruise on Celebrity's Millennium. We have been on over 100 cruises, and I can honestly say that we have never enjoyed a cruise more. The days and weeks sped by, and we didn't want to leave the ship in Vancouver, but all good things must end. The service was phenomenal! The wait and cabin staff couldn't do enough to please us. The Main Dining room waiters and staff saw to our every need; fetching dishes that I had not seen on the regular menu, accommodating special needs and always remembering my chocolate chip cookies for dessert every night, even after two other desserts were ordered. The lecturers on board were wonderful. Jim Kennedy former director of NASA and Lisa Didier were extremely interesting and we learned alot from both of them. Other lecturers were also very good, but we always attended Jim and Lisa'a lectures. Entertainment was also consistently good. All in all, we had a great time. A special thank you to Sandra Haupt in Guest Relations, who went way out of her way to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. We have already signed up for the 2015 World cruise series in Asia. Hopefully, one day Celebrity will actually plan an Around the World cruise. We will be the first people to sign up for it!! Unfortunately with all the other offers other cruise line are offering Celebrity is getting a bit of a bashing at the moment! We have personally been at the end of that sticky wicket! We also enjoyed our 28 nights Asian cruise earlier this year. We also found that dining room staff were happy to arrange for non-menu items to be prepared for us if we gave 24 hours notice.
