We are actually in the planning process. This past May we did a cruise for just the two of us, and we also are doing a friends & family cruise in Aug. I'm having a hard time deciding since the time of year I can vacation is limited and we are running out of ports to visit if sailing from NYC.

Hello,

How about May 4, 2014 aboard the Carnival Breeze out of Miami, going to Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozume (6 nights)?

To be honest that is not a bad idea at all. It's a ship we've never been on, and I do want to, and it goes to a few ports we haven't been (Key West & Grand Cayman). Also, the price is EXCELLENT.....it would be the least we've ever paid to cruise but on the downside we do have to include airfare.

Ummmm, the biggest hump would be getting my wife on board. She's jumping ship, job wise, and once she gets a new job vacation may not come as easy so I can only plan one cruise for 2014 right now. That would most likely be in August during the week my school is closed. I'm currently looking at the Explorer of the Seas out of Bayonne, NJ.

I never say never though........

As the children's lullaby goes: A dream is a wish your heart makes, when your fast asleep

You've been SO helpful to me that it would be great to finally meet. Where there's a will, there's a way. Let me know the outcome, either way.

Smooches:D

Awesome you have to let me know how it was after you go. I've been planing excursions and hotel stays already.

I will do that! We're staying at the San Juan Marriott & Stellaris Casino on Condado Beach. Walking distance to the Atlantic Beach Hotel where they have a gay patio bar and grill and beach area. The hotel doesn't have the greatest reviews so we decided to stay at Marriott and walk over. ;)

We purchased FTTF and plan to board the ship early, get settled, and then go check out Old San Juan. :D

We are doing an 18 day Panama Canal cruise on HAL's Zuiderdam, departing Fort Lauderdale on April 18 - - sailing to San Diego. This is our third Panama Canal cruise, with the other two being a full transit and a partial transit.

Several new and interesting ports for us on this itinerary. :)

A day before and a day after. I booked most of the excursions just need to figure out st Thomas and st Maarten

We purchased FTTF because we want to check out of our hotel and go directly to our stateroom without having to wait. Gives us all day in Old San Juan. We're headed to Magen's Bay Beach in St. Thomas and booked the "Power Rafting Adventure" through Carnival in St. Maarten. It stops at Maho Beach where the big jets fly right over the beach. :D

We've cancelled the Explorer of the Seas 5 Day to Bermuda for June 2014, and booked the Explorer of the Seas 9 Day to Bermuda AND the Caribbean. So on August 14, 2014 we will start our sailing to Bermuda, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and Haiti!

The excitement has begun..........:D

My partner and I are doing the Mediterranean on the NCL Spirit 4-24-2014. Were sailing out of Barcelona and going to France, Italy,Greece and Turkey ending in Venice. My mother just beat breast cancer so we are surprising her with this trip as she has never been to Europe.

Sailing Feb 10th on the Coral Princess on a partial canal cruise.

Now have added a Sept 13th cruise on NCL's Getaway to the eastern Caribbean. Its after school starts so maybe less small kids on the water slides and more adult kids having fun.

Cagney's steak house will be seeing a lot of me for sure.:p
