We have had so much rain the last 6 weeks that most of our flowers are not blooming -- only a few morning glories.

We had to take down our trumpet vines a few years ago -- they were doing damage to the bricks.

Yes. Shot at Fraser River in south Vancouver with Mount Baker in the background. Mount Baker is snow capped year round.

These are Cooper's Hawks. They do prey on smaller birds but we have plenty of smaller birds around. They also prey on small mammals, and snakes. We have seen one try to get a gosling.

We have red hawks here and they do prey on our small animals -- chipmunks -- and small birds.

We chase him whenever we see him.

Even the squirrels are afraid of them.
