bingo3 Posted July 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2013 The schematics make it look like the deck 9 rooms are a little laregr than the deck 10. I also read deck 9 has the largest size balconies and deck 10 the 4th largest. Does anyone have any input as to which would be better? I also read I think, there may be more noise heard from deck 8, on deck 9. Any suggestions? Thanks! debbie

I am leery of having public spaces underneath because of noise...

Same reason why we also chose a mid-ship mini-suite on Deck 10!!:D
vondofife Posted July 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2013 If you look at this picture of the Breakaway - it is only the balconies at the front of the ship that have those larger balconies. The minisuites with large balcony M6 cabins are the ones on deck 8 with the really deep balconies, directly above those are the large balcony B6 staterooms then the regular balconies above that. The only other way to secure a larger balcony would be an aft balcony cabin B1 or go for an aft suite!!! :) The first two balcony cabins on deck 8 are BX category - I believe they are slightly cheaper than an M6 or B6 but have that huge balcony. I have not been on the Breakaway but I would suggest, if possible, to select a cabin that does not have a public space directly above or below it (for the noise). Want2Cruise Posted July 28, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Deck 9 if your room is over the Waterfront you will have the roof of the waterfront directly below you. Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk
