T4T Posted July 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Hello, We have 2 balcony cabins booked on the Ruby and are a family of 4 with 2 teenage sons travelling. I am just wondering whether the Aloha or Baja deck cabins would be better, we would like one cabin with twin beds and the other a queen. Many thanks for your views Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

Indicate your preference in the cruise personalizer. Some cabins that have 4 berths can not be converted. It is possible that one or both cabins could be upgraded, and be separated from each other. To avoid this have cabins marked "no upgrade". Both decks are fine. The Aloha deck is one deck higher, thus one less flight of stairs to go up or down to/from the Lido deck. Less waiting for the elevators.
FritzG Posted July 28, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2013 We always book on Baja deck. It's a good midship location, and there are passenger decks above and below you which tends to be quieter.

T4T Posted July 28, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted July 28, 2013 I eventually managed to work it out from the Princess website and you all have very valid points. I thought i had better ask in case any one knows something i dont ;) We have stayed on the deck below horizon court before and had no noise problems so may pull rank over my sons and take the cabin only one flight down from the action. Thanks folks Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
