Beer and the Classic Package

I read where you could order beer up to $5 on the classic package. When looking at the Preismans bar menu lists for 2013 Eclipse cruise, all the beers were starting at over $5. Is this correct??? Not that I am a beer drinker but sometimes with lunch I like one.

On most Celebrity cruises, you are charged a 15% gratuity in addition to the price for the drink. On all cruises departing from the UK, the price on the menu for all drinks includes the gratuity of 15%. Therefore all beers under $5.75 would be included in the Classic Alcohol package. (The Classic package includes the gratuity). The Preismans cruise left from Southhampton.

There are plenty of popular beer offerings available on the classic package.

It is a little over a year old but it is still pretty accurate. Post 14 on that thread has some good info on beers summarized in a paragraph that is pretty representative of the current offerings available at most bars on board.
