Leave from Florida in late june early July. Been to coco cay 5 times and castaway 3 times. very limited budget. What do you think?
Rare Scrapnana Posted July 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Are you trying to go to a private island other than Castaway Cay or Coco Cay?
SadieN Posted July 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Half Moon Cay is owned by Holland America. Some Carnival ships also call there.

Leave from Florida in late june early July. Been to coco cay 5 times and castaway 3 times. very limited budget. What do you think? I'm still stuck at the "sink or swim" part. What exactly are you asking? For another option in a private island cruise other than the one's you have been to? Are you trying to go to a private island other than Castaway Cay or Coco Cay? That's what I'm trying to figure out too. If you cruise with NCL, they go to Great Stirrup Cay. There's a review in my signature line that you can click on and see tons of pictures to see if it might interest you.
Krazy Kruizers Posted July 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2013 I am also confused. In June and July -- your choices are slimmer for doing private islands as there are fewer cruises at that time of the year. Most of the ships start to leave the Caribbean in April and don't return until the end of October/first part of November. They have gone to Europe, Alaska, Canada/New England.
