Cocochanel26 Posted July 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2013 I am booked now under fall & winter-past guest on the Breeze. I am wanting to change to this to resident rate since it would be cheaper, but I don't see anything about cancellation fees (not that we will be canceling) or change fees. Anyone know of any consequences of booking under this rate? Would I still be able to get price drops until final payment? moesyk4 Posted July 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Yes, we are currently booked under this rate (actually did the same as you and switched from fall and winter past guest to this) and confirmed we had until October to cancel our January cruise with 100% refundable. We have also already called in about a price drop and received it immediately.

kristinp36 Posted July 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2013 We made the same type of switch....you will need to increase your deposit since the sale included reduced deposit. If you do not pay the higher deposit they will cancel your cruise after 24 hours.
macmax Posted July 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2013 This unnecessary confusion with CCL's fares is another reason why they are making changes to their fare structure this fall.

Oddly, Carnival only not too long ago change it TO all these confusing fares! I guess they saw the light;)
Momto5 Posted July 31, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2013 I have a cruise booked on ES. Canada resident rates would be a price drop, but there is no check mark under "pick you own cabin". Is this true?
