There is a Total Wine, Walgreen's, and a Publix Grocery store all within 5-10 minutes walking of the Hyatt Pier 66. All of these stores are on SE 17th Street. novalab Posted August 1, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted August 1, 2013 You are welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed and found my review helpful. I'll be back down there next month for another adventure on the Allure! :) I am ENVIOUS!!!! By any chance, could you report back to the main RC CC board with a mini review of the MDR's dinner menus for each evening?:o So many of us would really appreciate it! As you can guess, we are all planning our specialty restaurant evenings but don't want to miss a good night in the MDR. Maybe just a picture of the daily posted menus for dinner? Seems each ship varies the order a little & your posting would be specific to the Allure. Your efforts would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!! (p.s: No one would expect you to eat in there every night & take pictures of the meals....pictures of the posted daily menus would be wonderful!) Have a WONDERFUL & Safe cruise!!! LynnAnne Posted August 2, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Thinking of booking this hotel the night after our cruise. Can you walk to any downtown shops or around the water to check out yachts ? Any places to eat around it? How far from the airport? Thanks

Any places to eat around it? How far from the airport? Thanks Downtown is a long walk. The Water Taxi stops right at the hotel, you could ride that into the downtown/Las Olas area if you wanted (you will also see many yachts and mansions during a Water Taxi ride). There is a marina right at the hotel with lots of yachts and other marinas nearby. There are quite a few restaurants nearby on 17th Street. It is about 15 minutes from the airport, a taxi to the airport would be about $12-$15.
