Eating outdoors

Does anyone know if there is any area's on the STAR that you can eat outdoors, like an outdoor café type of place, we went on Celebrity once and it had a lovely outdoor café area off the Buffet at the back of the boat, a great place to have breakfast each day.

Sorry...the Star and sister ship, Dawn, don't have such an area. The Jewel class ships do...its called the Great Outdoors and is aft of the buffet and has its own, smaller buffet and a bar. Part covered...part open to the sky.

 

This area on the Star and Dawn is the kids pool area.

It depends on your definition of outdoors. The pool deck has tables that you can dine at on each side, and although the center is open, the sides do have a deck above them. They often have a the breakfast buffet set up there each morning. There is lots of fresh air, but you are shaded, rather than in an open area like they have at the rear of the ship. I actually prefer the shaded area as the food stays warmer than it does in the open dining areas in the rear of some of the other ships. If you have a breeze back there your food cools off rather quickly sometimes.
