regnig Posted August 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2013 I am so sorry to ask this question as I'm sure it has been asked and answered many times..... BUT, the darn search function just will not bring up any relevant threads. What is the dress code for the Pinnacle Grill? What about on Formal Night? Since my understanding of the new Explore4 benefit we won't know until we board what day/time our dinner will be? Additionally, does anyone have an educated guess as to if our 3 linked booking will get the same day/time for that "free" Pinnacle dinner? Thanks bunches in advance, were it not for you all I wouldn't have even known about the new promotion.
rkacruiser Posted August 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2013 The dress code for the Pinnacle Grill is the same for whatever it is for the entire ship. That said, some do prefer to dress-up somewhat more than Smart Casual, if it is a Smart Casual night. An open neck dress shirt with a sport coat would be perfect for a gentleman on such nights. sail7seas Posted August 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Dress Code in Pinnacle is the same as the rest of the ship (but for Lido). If it is formal for MDR, it is formal for Pinnacle. I have no idea if your linked bookings will all be offered free Pinnacle on the same night.
Typhoon1 Posted August 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Technically, the same as the rest of the ship. However, it is not unusual to see most dressed in smart casual apparel.
regnig Posted August 2, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Thanks for the responses. Hopefully our free Explore4 dinners will not be assigned to a Formal Night as we stopped packing the glitzy stuff many years ago. Fortunately smart casual is no problem so we'll hope for that. BumperII Posted August 2, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2013 We usually wear at least sport coat and tie in the Pinnacle Grill. It is not required, but we enjoy the experience. There is nothing particulaly formal about formal night any more. The graceful gowns have been replaced by sequin encrusted pants suits and the tuxedo has been replaced by well worn business suits.:o
pms4104 Posted August 2, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Technically, the same as the rest of the ship. However, it is not unusual to see most dressed in smart casual apparel. And sometimes when people are dressed in Smart Casual on Formal nights, Pinnacle staff remind them it's Formal night and ask them to change into proper attire to be seated in the Pinnacle. Krazy Kruizers Posted August 2, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 2, 2013 The linked dining you have is for the main dining room. I seriously doubt you all will end up at the Pinnacle for your free dinner on the same night or even the same time. That information is not passed onto the Pinnacle manger. All you can do is check it out once you get on the ship and then see if you all can get the same night and time.
sail7seas Posted August 2, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Seeing it is a new program, there are likely to be kinks that need to be worked out and linking reservations may be one of them.
