freedom50 Posted August 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2013 We will be cruising on the Coral Princess to the Panama Canal. Does the Coral offer the 'ultimate ships tour'? Is it worth the cost? Would you recommend it for someone who has a slight mobility issue? Thanks for your advice.:)
Essiesmom Posted August 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2013 It costs $150pp. Have not taken it, but on Carnival it involves a lot of stairs. EM
paul929207 Posted August 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2013 It is offered on all Princess ships. Cost is $150. I have not done it either.
BroncoLvrs Posted August 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2013 My husband and I did the tour and LOVED t! Be sure to leave room in your luggage for the goodies. There was a lot of walking, to include stairs. Enjoy your cruise!
blazerjan Posted August 2, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2013 Did the UST on Coral...loved it and it was so worth the $150. Would do it again in a minute... but I believe they would prefer someone with mobility issues not go. There is lots of walking and lots of stairs and a lot of standing. Would you recommend it for someone who has a slight mobility issue? Thanks for your advice.:) I suggest: a) Sign up for it as soon as you can after boarding at the Purser's desk. b) Seek out the Cruise Director who will be very familiar with the tour, explain your mobility limitations, and ask for his/her advice as to if you should stay signed up for the tour.
