Spirit Owner's Suite #5 and 6

Does anyone have any experience with either of these suites? The Owner's suites at the front of the ship are unavailable. I am concerned with both the description of the views as obstructed and the potential for noise at this location - next to elevator, adjacent to boutique, casino, etc.

If anyone has any thoughts, I'd very much appreciate it!

Recently in Suite 6 on the Legend for the first time. What's missing is the full length open door onto the mini-balcony that lets the fresh air in and provides nice views but all made up for by the enormous living room where we entertained new friends a couple of times, the second toilet, the real balcony with two loungers on which you can lie and enjoy the bar contents. Mind your head on the lifeboats though as it's small. Extra sized separate bedroom and more luggage storage space than I thought possible with a massive lounge suite on which to spread out in the living room while better half prepares for the evening in the bath and bedroom area. Of course you pay for all of that.

Owners suites also have the advantage of multiple TVs, free internet and for those who can't stand the rubbish coffee served on the little ships - a Nespresso coffee machine that's restocked every morning.

No noticeable noise except when the smaller boats being lowered & raised occasionally but that's usually after 0800 in the morning anyway. Miles from the boutique and casino. 2 Large picture windows and the doors to the balcony provide views but not the same as a balcony suite with the full open door at the end of the suite.

I was staying in #05 in the Carib a few yrs ago....one evening I fell asleep on the lounger out on my balcony ~~only to awaken at 5 a.m.by the Crew spraying down the ship!!! Next morning I ran into the Captain....he said, "Miss Martha try from now on to sleep in your bed and NOT on your balcony.....unless you want a bath!"

Sooo don't sleep on your balcony!

You'll love suite 06! Perfect for a cocktail party.

Both 5 & 6 are just fine. The "under the lifeboat" suites have a nice veranda and plenty of space for a smaller ship. The veranda is also very private.

They are my first choice for the little ones.

There are two downsides. The first is that the accommodation ladder (stair gangway) is stowed just a little aft of the suite so when the ship enters port there is about a 15-20% chance you will find deck crew right outside your bedroom window for about 15-20 minutes while they lower the ladder.

The second downside is that the lifeboats and rescue boats do need regular maintenance so there is also a chance that you will find crew working on them as you wander out on your veranda one morning. Depending on their competence and communication between the Staff Captain/Staff Chief Engineer and the Hotel Manager, you may get prior notification but I would not guarantee that will happen. After you make a complaint it will certainly happen.
