46 More days till we cruise....YAY!!!!! This is our first cruise with our kids...17, 15, 13. They are Really excited as we keep telling them things to expect and how much fun it is. Last time we cruised it was just my DH and I so we really didn't pay any attention to what they had going for the kids other than the clubs Circle C and Club O2. We just know they are there but don't even know what they do in them. Anyone with any advice or stories or anything I can pass along to them would be Great! Thanks!!! :)

On the Splendor they have several pools and a twister water slide, mini-golf, basketball, splash park, video arcade. There are lots of activities going on at the main stage of the Lido deck (line dancing, towel animal folding, the always fun to watch hairy chest contest or even the master mixologist contest is fun to watch.

They have trivia at various places around the ship and most ships will have bean bag toss. There are puzzles (like word puzzles) on the Promenade every day.

I'm guessing you will have several port days and will be off the ship and busy with that.

I just looked at some of my old Fun Times from both the Breeze and the Conquest and the activities are pretty typical on all ships.

These are the activities on a port day:

8 different Trivia games from 1:00 to 4:30pm

Sports Square

Daily Puzzles

Big Screen Concert

Cirque Du Soliel

Bean Bag Toss

Karaoke Party

Theater Shows

On Sea days they added a couple of things:

Vollyball Tournament (18 to enter but fun to watch)

Bingo

Dodgeball Tournament (18 to enter but fun to watch)

Line Dance Class

Napkin Folding Demo

Tea Time

To get them familiar with the ship you might do some online research and have them do a scavenger hunt using camera's to locate different things or places on the ship.

Smjlt- see you on the ship! Like sound dawg said- join us in the roll call!

I can't wait for our cruise- I hope they have dodge ball in our cruise (i'll probably do horrible at it but I haven't played in years and it used to be so much fun!). I'm sure your kids will have a ball even outside of the kids clubs.

We just got off the Splendor ... with my three kids.. 18, 14 and 8.

There is a whole schedule for the three age groups....tons of things to do.

I am going to start my review tomorrow, and will include scans of the Camp schedules.

I was wondering the same thing. My son is 15 and daughter is 12. We also are on the Sept 22nd sailing. We're happy to hear our kids won't be the only kids on the ship. :)

Our kids are Very excited! We too have a son 15 and a daughter 13. We all keep forgetting we are going while school is in so there may not be to many kids on board.
