Rare We_like_to_cruise Posted August 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2013 We are on the Ocean Princess British Isles cruise at the end of the month. Am I correct in assuming the two formal nights will probably be held the two sea days, which is the second and fifth night of the cruise? Also, since this small ship alternates dining in Sabatini's and the Sterling Steakhouse any idea which days each might be open? Thanks :)
paul929207 Posted August 7, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2013 Yes, the formal nights are almost always on sea days.
caribill Posted August 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2013 The Patter on the first day will likely list which nights which specialty restaurant will be open.
CTGirl Posted August 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2013 Just got off the Ocean Princess yesterday. We did the 8 day BI cruise with Guernsey. The first formal night was Guernsey. The second formal was the first sea day.

dorisis Posted August 8, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2013 The specialiyt restaurants are open on alternate nights. The nights they are not open for dinner are the nights they are used for Suite, Elite and Platinum coktail hours. You will need to check you Patter for which is which.
