We got off the glory July 4, 2013. With the new 2.0 they changed the shows. Saw welcome aboard, Playlist productions Latin nights and Diva. Did not like any of them. Very loud, less dancers, all senery was digital. Would not attend one again. Comedy club and paino bas were awesome

Motor City is another one.

But I am not sure what ones play on 4 night vs 5 night.

but all three are there for a 7 night

what sailing are you doing?

Comedy club had two family shows and 2 adult shows. We did the family shows.

they empty the club between shows. (I prefer it, some do not)

Hasbro games show was done 3 times on a 7 day cruise-- and its not fun if you are not playing.

Love and marriage show-- for us after 18 cruises its all the same-- we no longer go and we keep it off the tv. Was disappointed to find its all scripted)

Here is a photo I took of the entertainment listing for our 4-day Glory cruise.

Neither my DH nor I cared for the Latin Nights show. The singers were not great and one singer (male) was truly awful! The Divas show was a bit better, but that is probably because I liked the song choices. Hasbro is cute, but can get a bit boring. DH and I were also really disappointed with the Welcome Aboard Show. No singing or dancing! Lamest Welcome Aboard Show ever. Didn't get you excited about the cruise. :(

My teen got a kick out of the Love and Marriage show. We both enjoyed the comedy.

Did not attend any other shows.

Oh, wait, that's not true. We saw a magic show. He was good. Illusions were pretty standard fair, but he pulled them off.

What are the shows currently performing on the Glory. Which ones did you love and which ones did you wish you had done something else?

The Glory has the 2.0 Playlist productions shows. Motor City, Divas, and Latin Nights. Motor City and Latin Nights were mediocre. I did not see Divas, but was told that it was not as good as the other two.

There was also the Hasboro Game show, the Marriage Game show, and the Passenger talent show. I had no interest in them.

There is a considerable amount of comedy and the piano bar is good.

Any other entertaianment on nights with Hasbro?

Do they script the love and marriage show before making selection of people from audience or after they are up there?

Thanks for the feedback. Shows are not real high on our priority list. We have seen some good ones in the past and some that we could have done without. The good news is that there is plenty to entertain us without going to "shows".

The Playlist shows are a nice way to be entertained for 45 minutes. If you really enjoy them the singing and dancing continues in the atrium lobby. (We went to the piano bar).

The Hasbro show, however, can be a bit tedious. A large portion of the time is spent by the CD selecting overexcited children to play the games. And the Connect 4 game takes forever. And it was unbearably loud.

Was finding it boring with same question but same answers on top of it just a waste of time and kind of why we havent gone to it last 10 or so cruises

ugh Love & Marriage show. All cruiselines seem to ask the same old questions. By now people should know the answers and all win!

Latin Nights was ok. Motor City I've seen enough.

I have to say Carnival's shows used to be better than they are now; they appear to have had major cutbacks here. # of nights a show, # of dancers, etc.

My husband and I participated in the Love and Marriage show February 2012 and our answers were not scripted. It was definitely a lot of fun, probably more so because we were in it, but it looked like the audience had a good time too.

It's my goal to get my parents up there on our upcoming cruise!

I will bet you were the married that were newly married? and it was your first time?

its usually the ones that are married the longest that will have the scripted answers. with a few thrown in for the middle couple.

go again, especially after participating. the questions will be the same.

We were on the 5-day starting July 9. All of these shows were available: Motor City, Divas, and Latin Nights, plus the Hasbro Game show, and the Marriage Game show as well as the welcome aboard show.

The main theater is beautiful and has comfortable stadium seating upstairs with good sight lines (as long as you don't sit near or behind a support beam).

The main shows were singing and dancing to canned music. Every show in the theater was overly loud. As main theater entertainment goes, we found them very disappointing. Did not attend Marriage Game Show.

Did attend two comedy shows: one family show with one comic and the adult-only show with the other. Didn't think either was "great", but found both to be entertaining with laughs to be had. Both shows sold out. If you arrive 20 -30 minutes early you can snag a seat close to the front of the stage. This room was really well laid out. I really liked the idea of a comedy showroom on a ship.
