RCTV, Studio B, On Air Club, Centrum?

Recommended Posts

How are these spaces used?

On Freedom of the Seas deck plan there's space called RCTV, Studio B, On Air Club and Centrum, what are they?

Thank you.

Trudy

RCTV is a small space the technical crew use for the TV control and video editing etc.

Studio B is the Ice Rink and venue for the ice show and Quest

On Air is the Karoke Club area

Centrum is the central area of the ship around guest services area

On Air for Karoke, would it be loud for cabins in the area on that deck or the deck below?

Do you think the other areas would be quiet for sleeping (regular hours of say 11pm to 6 pm?

Thank you.

Trudy

I've stayed in rooms quite near to OnAir several times and have never heard any noise. The sound insulation seems great.

The only times I can remember noise is from passengers, crew banging doors or noise from parades on the promenade when I stayed in a promenade room.

Hope this helps :-)

Deck 3 of Freedom has OV cabins under the Promenade.

Would that be a problem, ie. with runners at night & early morning?

Thank you for your helpful comments. We need the right cabin for a relative quiet. Want to avoid smoke so avoiding the balcony cabins.

Love the OV cabins on Deck 3 near the aft elevators. Quiet, easy to get to the third floor dining room, elevators, other activities. Promenade is on Deck 5 and is not a jogging area, but an "indoor mall" type area.

Thank you. Is the promenade open all the way around the deck or just on the sides?

Trudy

It's open all around, except in the forward part of the ship you have to go up to deck 5 and pass by the helicopter pad.
