We sail the Sensation in 12 days and I was checking to see what the fare difference would be to upgrade from oceanview to a balcony state room and noticed that ALL (6) of the aft facing balconies on the upper deck are available. But all of the suites that were available on the weekend, are now full.

 

Sooooo, does that mean the up-sell fairy did some shuffling thus opening up an entire row of aft balconies?

That is what it sounds like. Too much of a coincidence that a whole row of aft facing balconies were never booked (they usually are prime real estate).

It's possible.

 

Now, they can resell the cheaper cabins for as cheap and as quick as they can.

 

Question would remain, did they upgrade or upsell. We'll never know unless they come on here, or you pull a Columbo on your cruise.

That sounds very much like what happened. We probably won't know if those folk were upgraded, or upsold. But, it's lots of fun to wonder about it.
