blakeamy Posted August 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Looking to book an October cruise. With all the different fares available now, just wondering what my choices would be. If I book an inside now, and the price drops, can I upgrade to an ocean view? The early saver rate is no longer available, so I know I can't book a price protection rate. I just didn't know how restrictive they are about changing cabins with the other fares. Thanks!
CoconutJD Posted August 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2013 As long as you're willing to pay more, and there are cabins available, I don't think Carnival has any restrictions on upgrades. "Complimentary" (when the price of a higher cabin drops to what you paid or below) upgrades might not be as easy, but I'm sure it's been done.
