Sapphire Princess B746 or 747

These cabins are ideal. They are very quiet--there are passenger cabins above and below, and being at the end of the hallway there is practically no foot traffic past the door. And as you noted the balconies are covered and a little larger than the others in this category. And it's only a short walk up to the Horizon Court, Terrace Pool and Outrigger Bar.

I think they are a very good choice.

We stayed in one of these starboard, I'm guessing 747--can't remember :p. Cabin was great.

As mentioned, very quiet. We would book again. The only reason we chose starboard, was because I thought we would get the berth facing the Aloha Tower in Honolulu.

Alas, Carnival got that berth, and they followed us in. :D

Either one would be fine with me.

Good Choice

In 2010 I was upgraded to Baja 747 on a Mexico cruise and I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. It's a little bigger and laid out long ways. Very quiet. The balcony is great! (It can be shady and not full sun at times) You have a great long view of the ship. I called it the Cave :)

It is my favorite cabin I have had.

Any stayed in these rooms? Wondering if they are noisy or quiet. We saw the balcony was covered and angled. Looking at this for the pacific costal cruise in Oct.

Thanks

We stayed in B744 on the Golden, which seems to be an identical room to B746 on the Sapphire. It was a wonderful room, very quiet, and the view from the balcony was priceless.

While we haven't done these cabins on this ship, we did do the last cabin with the angled balcony last year on a transatlantic from Venice to Fort Lauderdale. Wonderful rooms. Very quiet. So much so that we got the last room A746 on the Crown for our TA this October and also got it for Alaska next year on the Coral but on Baja deck. I am sure you will enjoy whichever one you choose.

Cheers, Kenn
