BOA Royal Points good on Celeb?????

Did not have time to do a search or read the new policy in depth..(see links below) Hope someone has time and can get through it all...

 

But it seems that BOA VISA Royal Points can now be used on Celebrity.. we just redeemed a bunch for a cruise on Royal C, but this chnage would be a good thing in the future. Our cruise after the one on Royal will be on X.. we never use the old Celeb card since it stopped giving OBC reward...

The points can now be redeemed on Celebrity and Azamara. You will also earn the double points on charges for those lines also. I am very happy about that since Celebrity is our favorite cruise line.

Are you saying those with an existing BOA Royal Caribbean card can use the accumulated points for a Celebrity cruise? If so, that's wonderful. We have mucho points on the RCI card, but I wondered if it was just for new cardholders.

I called BOA and the points are good on Celebrity.

I talked to them, RCCL, and was told the across the board change will go into effect on Aug 30th, then we can use the points on any of the 3 lines, no need to get one of the new Celebrity C/Cards.

No need, but the new card gives 10,000 bonus points . . .

The 10,000 bonus points are redeemable for $100 OBC. Is this OBC combineable with other offers/OBC provided by a TA?
