Kayaking on GSC

Has anyone done the kayaking excursion on Great Stirrup Cay? My 13 year old DS loves to kayak , my husband has done it once or twice, I have never.. and we also have a 9 year old who has once (just as second person with DH on a pond). The excursion says age 8 and up but I am wondering if it is difficult and maybe just DH and DS should go and I will stay behind with younger DS.

Not difficult at all, we have done this tour a couple of times and it is a lot of fun. They are two person kayaks and there are two or more guides. You beach the kayaks and swim if you want, the guides also point out marine life.

It last two or three hours if I remember right, you can leave you bags and other belongings in a secure locker.
