canadarocks Posted August 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2013 I've read that with the purchase of a beverage you can get free tapas at the Vines Bar on the Emerald Princess. What I haven't been able to find is what kinds of Tapas are offered. Does anyone know or can you point me in the right direction to find out? :o
onlycolls Posted August 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2013 We were just on the Star and we got a plate of sushi (salmon based since we were in Alaska) and another plate with a chicken wing, bruschetta, mini lamb ribs and I forget the 4th item. Thanks, do you remember what other non-seafood items they had?
OCruisers Posted August 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2013 We were in Vines on Emerald in January for a while before dinner some nights because a favorite bar tender from a previous Princess cruise was there. Yes, the tapas and sushi were at n/c with the purchase of any beverage. There was a sushi chef (very nice) to actually do these things. Seems what is offered is different each evening. cibaygirls Posted August 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2013 From my experiences with Vines on other ships, there is usually one sushi plate and one tapas type plate offered each day. I recall mini meatballs, brushchetta, some vegetables.. Each day there was a plate on display showing what the food offerings were for the day. We always enjoyed it, it was a struggle as we were always so full from everything else, but it is such a nice atmosphere there. Dana
canadarocks Posted August 26, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted August 26, 2013 Thanks everyone, I finally understand. It's one plate with a few different things. Not a variety of little plates to choose from (like Tapas are normally). Still sounds appealing though! :)
OCruisers Posted August 26, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 26, 2013 They'll put what you want on a little plate. Like I only got one piece of sushi. LuLu ~~~~
