Hi everyone,

Does Carnival still sell the 100.00 voucher with OBC on each of their ships to be used on a future sailing?

Are there any new stipulations with the vouchers ?

Is booking a cruise while on a cruise have advantages?

No, Carnival no longer sells the future cruise certificates.

You must book (with full deposit) a specific cruise while onboard to get the obc on the future cruise.

WOW! Wonder how that arrangement is working for them - although I'm sure there are people who do this, I'd rather use the money in my pocket for the vacation I'm currently on - $100.00 was a much easier commitment for many I'd guess (know it was for us). Oh well, we'd planned to buy another one on our upcoming cruise but guess not.

I'm with you...really miss the FCC..we never know when we will be able to travel and therefore can not commit to booking right then and there...I'm hoping that Carnival will reinstate the FCC..for us it was a win win situation..

Do you know how much OBC they give for a 7 day booking ?

Luckily, I managed to grab 4 of the FCV's on the last sailing they were being offered. I wish they would also be returned.

I believe you receive the same OBC now for booking onboard that the FCV's once offered. Downside you can no longer combine the Booking OBC with the FCV credits like you used to be able to. So now I don't accept the OB booking credit, BOOK EARLY SAVER instead (even if booking onboard) then I submit my FCV when I get home. Then watch for ES price drops.

BOOKING OB

$50 3-5 day

$75 6 day

$100 7-9? day

$200 12+ day

..and do you know if you can use your current OBC to put a deposit down on the future cruise. ?

I have a trip planned in Nov 2013 and have a lot of OBC from price drops and a previous cruise certificate. It will diffiuclt to spend all of the OBC that we have (more credit than the price of the cruise).

Anyhow, we are planning another trip for Sept 2014 and I am willing to put down a deposit.

Will I be able to use this OBC for the deposit or does Carnival need a Credit Card for this deposit?

No you can not use OBC for future sailings, If you do not end up spending it all, just go to the casino on the last night, pull the amount you have remaining OBC from your s&S to your players account, take a lucky slot spin, then CASH OUT at the Casino cashier. Use the CASH towards your future cruise.
