Eclipse Aft view

Is the view from deck 7 of the aft cabins good? Can you see the wake or does the lower part of the ship get in the way?

Would a cabin higher up be better?

The view from the Tuscan grill is awesome and that is on Deck 5. I'd assume the view would be just as good or better the higher up you went.

 

I'm sure someone will post a picture or two so you can see.

Yes, you can see the wake well; I stayed on deck 7 aft of sister ship Equinox and had wonderful views of the wake. Do keep in mind though that other than the aft views, the aft facing staterooms on S-Class ships are not nearly as nice as on most other ships. They are not any deeper than balconies on the side of the ship (so no massive balcony like on M-Class or afts on many other cruise lines), sometimes soot lands on the aft balconies on S-Class and the nearest stairs/elevators are a bit of a walk.

Thank you for all your replies.

We have booked the cabin on deck 7 but were wondering if we should move. After your replies we have decided to stay put.

 

I'm looking forward to the walk to the elevators ( will need the exercise after all that food!).

Hopefully the soot will stay away. We have booked one of the slightly wider balconies.

Here is a shot from our aft cabin #1222 deck 10 on Reflection. Booked the same cabin On Silhouette #1210, don't know why the numbers are different. :confused:

Reflection is slightly larger and has a slightly different design; as such the stateroom numbers do not correspond to the older S-Class vessels.

View from 8353 on the Silhouette is fabulous - have had this cabin 3 times. You wont go wrong with any aft cabin. Enjoy.:D
