Watching a sunset in Bora Bora

Miss Priss

Recommended Posts

Hi Fellow travelers. We'll be in French Polynesia in Feb, March of 2014. Our ship, the Statendam, stops in Bora Bora at 4 in the evening. We thought about going to Matira Beach, but sunset is around 6:30 and I don't think we could get to the beach with any time left. Bloody Mary's is closed as it is Sunday. Is there someplace we could go to at least have a sunset drink?

We're here overnight and have plans for the following day, but I sure don't want to miss this evening either. Can you help?

There might be a few places to the left when you leave the tender drop off location that might be open on Sunday, just don't know which ones. The Bora Bora Yacht Club might be open, they have a restaurant and bar but I email them yesterday to ask but no answer yet.
