Does anyone think that the short rib is as good as their steaks?

I like a good short rib. I have ordered the short rib in Chops three times maybe more over the years...each time I hope it is better...Nope I have finally given up hope. The short rib in Chops is unremarkable. Sorry

I think short rib is supposed to taste basically like pot roast, but not awful pot roast, however. It is a tougher cut of meat which needs to be cooked for a long time, much like pot roast no matter the cut. I guess what I am trying to say is that a good short rib should taste like a good pot roast allowing for difference in seasoning, etc.. :D;)

Are you saying it's cooked prior to freezing and just thawed/reheated on ship?

 

Or is it frozen raw and then thawed and fully cooked on ship?

Not good i left half of mine, was very disappointed with chops had the creme brûlée for dessert and didn't eat that cuz they sprayed it with brandy to flambé it and this ruined the taste. To add insult to injury didn't realised we were drinking bottled water an had a bill for $36 dollars at the end.
