saturn3 Posted August 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2013 I was looking in April of 2014 to do a cruise from New York. I would like to go 10-14 days. There only seems to be two cruises on Norwegian Cruise lines, not even a choice of any other cruise line I searched going out of NY. Is it to early to look ahead to April 2014?? Never sailed Norwegian have done Carnival and Princess.
ColinIllinois Posted August 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2013 It's not too early to book for that time frame. That's the only cruises that they offer out of NYC for that amount of days during that month.
sweetride Posted August 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2013 i read an article about new laws for emissions or something that made ships in US waters buy fuel that was much more expensive and because of this and other cost increases, some of them were pulling out of certain ports. the others would have to raise prices significantly to make up for it. it was a month or so ago that i read it, so i forget the details. i was also looking for cruises out of NY and boston and found a LOT of cruises stopped running
Cruising4 Posted August 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2013 Royal Caribbean's Explorer sails a 9-night cruise out of Bayonne during April 2014. I booked it but decided to fly to Miami and try out the Epic!
