CruiserBruce Posted August 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2013 A little reading on the board would reveal Total Wines and a Publix store on 17th St, behind Embassy Suites are the closest.

JohninDC Posted August 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2013 If you are in a hurry (taxi waiting?) you can pre-order on-line with Total Wine and your purchase will be waiting for you; run in, pay, and carry out. Good luck! :)
PORT ROYAL Posted August 31, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 31, 2013 If you are in a hurry (taxi waiting?) you can pre-order on-line with Total Wine and your purchase will be waiting for you; run in, pay, and carry out. Good luck! :) Do not forget that the "$0.50 (50 cents) Sun Trolley [shuttle Train]" actually has it final stop (terminus) right outside Total Wine in FL and probably stops outside (or near) your Hotel. The Sun Trolley is an excellent way to get around, the two routes for the tourist areas are the Las Olas-Beaches and Convention Connection which runs Friday-Monday from 9:30am-6:30pm every 15-20 minutes. It cost 50 cents per ride and they come frequently, there always seemed to be one when we wanted to ride it. You can also get an all day pass for $2, exact change is required. In addition to the marked stops, you can also wave one down. There are two routes for tourists, the Las Olas line runs from the beach to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the beach line runs from the Harbor Shops near Port Everglades where the cruises leave from to the Galleria Mall on Sunrise Blvd. There are three other routes that run during the week, you can view the schedule and routes here. http://www.suntrolley.com/maplasolas/ Trust this asists
Florissouri Posted August 31, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Well, thanks for enlightening me on my lack of attention. Excuse Bruce, but it sometimes gets tiresome answering the same simple questions that are answered just about EVERY day. If you type in "wine port everglades" into the search box at the top of the page you'll get a few dozen threads with your answer.
eandj Posted August 31, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Where could I find a wine store close to Port Everglades? Are you coming from the airport, day of the week, staying overnight in the area, have a car, using a cab? Lots of info could add miore detail to the answers. Total Wine is great for a big vairety. Publix has basics. No wine sales on Sunday morning. Cab charges for waiting while you shop. etc etc
