molly361 Posted August 31, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2013 Thanks this will be the 1st time in the CL the other ships we sailed on didn.t have one Can you get a mixed drink The CL is on the 11th floor. You can get a mixed drink at both the DL and CL. The DL on these ships sometimes holds the cocktail hour in Blzaze nightclub, not in the DL
swsf99a Posted August 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2013 The Diamond lounge is on the 6th floor. Entrance just past the elevators as stated earlier. You slide your seapass card to open the door/gate. We were on the ship in May and all the nightly events were in the Blaze. It is directly across from the Comedy Club. With so many Diamond members the regular room was hardly used for the evening . I got some specialty coffees there in the AM, but usually deserted. DL was a good place to get a table along the railing above the Promenade to watch the parades....only 3-4 tables along the railing. There were usually two bar tenders and a couple of servers in the Blaze and they made pretty much whatever you wanted. Hope you enjoy it!!

leaveitallbehind Posted August 31, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 31, 2013 The CL is on the 11th floor. You can get a mixed drink at both the DL and CL. The DL on these ships sometimes holds the cocktail hour in Blzaze nightclub, not in the DL That typically happens when there is a large number of D / D+ / Pinnacle members on board, so they use Blaze as it is a larger venue. However, with our two times on Oasis, this was not the case and the DL was used. Although not as large or as nicely appointed as the CL, the DL is a great people watching venue with it's section in the Promenade while also offering an more intimate interior area as well. We've enjoyed it both times.
dwardlaw Posted September 1, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted September 1, 2013 I am sorry its the DL. So how do you know when they move it to Blaze. Do they put a note on the door and tell you the event is moved?
Clarea Posted September 1, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 1, 2013 I am sorry its the DL. So how do you know when they move it to Blaze. Do they put a note on the door and tell you the event is moved? When they move the event to Blaze (or any other venue), they make the decision before the cruise and it's for the entire cruise. They put a letter in your stateroom with the info.
